Loved It

I am a big fan of C n C and was thrilled when I first heard it was in the works. This is probably one of the best RTS's I have played. To me, I think it has okay graphics, great gameplay, and if you like online play, you will have some fun with this game. In the online play, you can gain ranks as you defeat other players. This truly can be can be a competitive game, however if you arent into that, it also has a great single player campaign.
I would rate this game a 9/10. Get it if you like RTS's. Get it if you are new to RTS's and would like to try it out. Its great.
"Console RTS" Says it all...

The potential that this game had was astounding. It could of been one of the funnest games on the 360. But seeing as how everyone thinks us console gamers are all 12 year old kids who hate anything complicated...they dumbed this game down. It's far to simple to be a great RTS, don't get me wrong, it's fun...but it's just whoever has the biggest gun wins. There's little strategy involved and even less balance.
Pros:
-Graphics are niice, explosions and air battles are pretty.
-It's an RTS.
-Controls just work.
-It's just fun!
Cons:
-It's an almost arcadey RTS....
-Lacks depth of units or structures.
-REALLY lacks strategy.
-Serious balancing issues.
Final Thought:
-CnC might not of been the breakthrough RTS everyone has been waiting for, but has definitely opened doors for games to come.
Just don't forget devs...WE LIKE COMPLICATED GAMES TOO!!!!!!!
Somewhat of a let-down!

I had very high hopes when I heard they were creating a Command & Conquer title for the 360. If I recall correctly, I nearly spit my soda out when I first was told by a pal-o-mine at a kid's Bday party. "You're &%itin'!" I proclaimed, but he quickly verified his claim with proof in the form of an internet ad. Anyway, I picked up a copy at the local BB and took it home to have my way with it. Unfortunately, I quickly became tired of the training section of the game and found myself rushing into some single player action. I managed to figure out the controls without a problem but was quite upset to experience how primative the game felt. I don't know why exactly but I somewhat expected it to remind me of the PC versions I'd played in years past. This expectation was far from being met as I soon found while my play progressed. After an hour or so of constant gameplay, I just had to put down the controller. Strategy seems to play much less of a role in this release when compared to previous versions. The intricacies I so loved from previous titles also seemed to be nonexistent in #3. The graphics were acceptable and dare I say possibly an improvement over previous PC titles but nothing spectacular. Gameplay was interesting but far to easy I felt. I'm sure most will argue that this game really shines on XBL but I never got that far. In the end, I returned it the same night and picked up Forza 2 instead. NOW THAT'S A GAME!!! In conclusion, Command & Conquer 3 is an understandable must have for the serious RTS gamer's portfolio. Afterall, there aren't many games like this available for the 360 platform, much less consoles in general. I'm guessing the online play is as enjoyable as most claim but since I didn't give it a try I'll refrain from making further comments. I would in no way recommend paying retail or even a GS or EB used price for this one but grabbing one on a trade would at least ensure you're not throwing your $ away before testing the waters. Thanks for reading! Regards, The Reverend LzzrdBoy

This is a great comeback of the Tiberium timeline. It has pretty intuitive controls for a console RTS, great graphics, extremely great Xbox Live Support. Its also got lengthy singleplayer campaign, though some of the missions are extremly boring or tough. A must buy for RTS fans with a 360 or PC.
Somewhat of a flop in my book!
