Forza Motorsport 2 sets the bar for simulation racing.

Forza Motorsport 2, the sequel to the original Forza Motorsport that revolutionized the simulation racing genre, developed by Turn 10, and published my Microsoft Game Studio sets the new bar for simulation racing.
FM2 is a game that does not excel graphically as compared to Project Gotham Racing 3 and other racers for the X360, but it more than makes up for it in the gameplay departmment. The game features the best car physics ever seen in a game and with tons of parts and tuning customizations that make ever car competitive and fun to race online. The game also features the most in-depth damage model of any licensed-car-featured game, both cosmetic and mechanical damage.
The online play is well executed and intense. It'll keep you hooked.
The game also features an Auction House for selling cars to the rest of FM2 users. To further excel with the Auction House the game has a paint customization mode that makes your car as customizable as you can imagine.
This game promises to be the best all-around racer of the generation. No need to buy a PS3 or Gran Tourismo 5 hear. Honestly.
This Game Is Great!
Forza Motorsport is an awsome racing game. Actually, it could be one of the best I have ever played. The graphics are not that great (cardboard people on the sidelines for example), but it is so much fun to play. You can even damage your car (in an awsome way), and you can't take a turn to fast or else you will be driving in the dirt instead of the track (which you get a racers penalty for). I'm going to have to give this game 5 stars for its awsomeness. I would recommend this game to any racing fan. If you want a good racing game, get this instead of Need For Speed.
Best Racing Game Ever PERIOD

Burnout is about speed; Project Gotham Racing is about looking cool; Forza Motorsport is about cars. No game has yet to take all three of these fundamental elements and merge them into one brilliant package. Though hopes were high for Forza Motorsport 2. If you love cars, you will likely love Forza 2. And if you're a wide-eyed child in the world of automobiles, Forza 2 may actually inspire a newfound appreciation for cars. With more than 300 cars included (and more likely to come through downloadable content), Forza 2 has a great variety of vehicles. Each class of car has its own unique feel, so that you can instantly tell the difference between racing in a muscle car or putting pedal to metal in a high-end plastic sports ride. There's a car for everyone.
In my 40 hours with Forza 2, I found a new appreciation and joy for driving an old Dodge Charger. The chugger is heavy and the tail swings easily with sharp turns, but the challenging metal beast has become my personal favorite. Moving from the Charger to a Ferrari is like going from playing an SNES to a 360.
Forza 2

I have had Forza 2 for about a month now and have like it more than any other race sim that I have ever played. It is easy for a newb like myself to get into, but has enough depth with the car configurations and options for difficulty to keep the veterans happy.
There are tons of cars to win and buy. The ability to paint your car with a custom paint job is one of the best part of the games for me. Once you create a cool car you can make some online money by putting it for sale in the auction house that is built into the game. The auction house has some very creative paint jobs that are sure to please if you want a cool car and can't paint.
The car graphics is about an 9 out of 10 but the surrounding environment is a little week (7 out of 10). The surroundings being a little less detailed is not a problem since it is usually whipping past at about 130MPH + anyway.
If you like to race and have a 360 then I don't think that you can go wrong with Forza 2.
Great, but very difficult Racing Sim!

I know I know...it should be hard. I've heard it all before and I knew it when I decided to load it up for a play. Luckily, I won this one from Tropicana so I didn't feel too bad when I realized how NOT GOOD I was at this game. Don't get me wrong, die-hard sim fans will love it as the level of reality in the game is super-high. I remember watching a show on the making of where they intereviewed all the developers involved. The time and effort put into the realism was extensive and in my opinion... well worth it. Granted, I may not be very good at the game but that doesn't mean it's not a great game. The tracks are better, the cars more numerous and varied, the graphics totally kick ass and the customization options nearly endless. Oh yeah...for those of you like me who suck at this type of game, there's even an extensive selection of difficulty options which can seriously dumb down the skill required to advance through the game. Online racing is awesome of course...but be careful, those serious Forza racers out there don't take kindly to rubbin' when racing. Definitely worth the trade...if for no other reason then to see if you've got what it takes to finish the game! Enjoy!
pretty good sim but not great

well the damage sucks you can get in a head on collision going backwards on the fastest track and not lose a bumper or wheels or anything maybe a mirror or something but other than that the game is pretty good but thats my only compliant is the damage like the others said the time put in to how the car handles is tremendus but the time into the damage was very little. Iknow people say u cant compare old to new but if you have the points and tokens get GRID and if ANYONE will trade it
