This is the best game that I have played for the 360 and you can't have a 360 collection without this game. this game is jammed packed with action and blood which is a very very good thing. The storyline is great and I would be lucky to own this game. Also this game was voted game of the year and shooter of the year by gamepro.

This game has one of the best engines I have ever seen. First it gave me what I was looking for and what I expected in classics like Halo 2 or timesplitters, an one button auto cover system. As your going through each act, you are not only experiencing top notch graphics but smart AI. Multi-player maybe a little rusty by the lack of settings but single player and split-screen co-op are really the heart of Gears of War.

This game is pretty much the best of all 360 games. PERIOD. The locusts are not only bad but they are smart which makes this game tougher to beat than your average shoot down aliens and monsters game. I also agree with hack1121 and doublespaced below. Split Screen Co-op is actually the best thing cause you and a friend can actually annihilate the locusts.

It has been a very long time since I bought a game (I'm 28) that I could not stop playing. The solo mission is one of the best stories ever told in a video game. I thought it couldn't get any better until a friend and I went back through the mission playing co-op. Look for future games to move to a similar co-op mission style. Without a doubt, if you own a 360 you must own this game!

This game was one of the best games ever to hit the XBOX and I know the next one will be even better. I know that the first time anyone plays it they will loveeeeeeeee it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have already beat. It is kinda short and that is the only bad part about and i hope they make the next one a lot longer and put more bosses in it. And the bosses need to be toughter then they are. But anyways you guys should really have a fun time playing this.

I just bought an Xbox 360 used off of ebay with this game. As many have said before, the game has an incredible "wow" factor. The graphics are stunning considering it is a console game. Every time I sit down to play it, a crowd collects in the living room. I love playing it and everyone seems to really enjoy watching it. The ambiance is fantastic and the weather effects are amazing. This is a must have for any Xbox 360 owner. Every game should have coop.

This is one of, if not the best, game on the 360 to date. The graphics are amazing, sound makes it very intense,and has great coop. Not to mention the online multiplayer is very fun. It has a lot of blood, but if you don't like that you can turn it off. So if you have a 360 you must buy this game!

This game is awsome, the single player has a awsome story.Also u can play co-op with your friends. If you get bored of the single player you can play the awsome multiplayer which has many fun maps and modes to play it in. So if you like shooters i recommend you pick this game up and try it out.

This is the best shooter in my opion so far that i played on the xbox 360. it is very addictve and when u beat it u want to beat it again.very fun and love the one button stick system. Story can be longer and have a bigger range of weapons but other than them i say this game is perfect. the fun starts when u get to the coop. it is better and more fun to play coop.and beating insane by uerself is very hard i recamend a partner to do it with u.

This game is better than halo. If your a "first person shooter" typer person i definitly recommend this game to you. It's xboxlive is incredible, you'll find yourself playing xboxlive for 10 hrs. It's really addictive. The Campaign is short, but its a good way to get used to the buttons and what all the weapons do and etc. I think anyone that plays Halo, Call Of Duty, etc. They should definitly get this game. BEST GAME EVER! =)

This game was incredible and VERY fun. although the story was short the online play was VERY good and kept me playing for quite awhile and will continue to play until Halo 3 comes out, and even then i doubt that will top this. The only game i can see topping this is Gears of war 2 but i think that might be awhile so until then ill keep enjoying this game and i hope you will too.

This game is absolutely AMAZING!!! It has an array of weapons from shotguns, machine guns, boom shot, sniper, torque bow, pistols, and grenades. This game not only has an awesome story mode but once your'e done with that you keep playing in its AWESOME multiplayer. This definately could be one of the best games ever and is for the XBOX360!!!!!

I love this game and if you are a 360 owner and don't have this game stop reading this right now and go and get it. Where do I start, the game play is simply great it really can't be improved. The graphics are absolutely stunning the environments are beautiful and the character models are even better. Don't forget the blood from ripping someone in half with a chainsaw to curb stomping their head so it pops like a balloon it awesome. The story is magnificent but some would say that it is a wee bit too short. Top that off with the most played 360 game since it's release. The mulitplayer stays strong with constant updates to improve it. It doesn't get better. If you haven't bought it yet your probably crazy.

If you have a Xbox 360 then you should have this game!!
Graphics- The best graphics you will see so far on the 360. The characters are truly amazing and the enviroments are breathtaking. The texture and detail of this game was truly taken care of and makes the game very appealing while playing. Graphics get a 5/5.
Gameplay- The gameplay just adds more amazingness to the game. The characters movements are true and you can almost feel the weight of the character shift from side to side. The controls were placed very well making it easy to use and learn very quickly. Gameplay gets a 5/5.
Storyline- The storyline is done very well. There are a lot of alien shooter games and this one doesn't just follow the alien way. Gears sets up a new race of villians making it more exciting and developing more of an interesting story. The story moves very swiftly and you will really enjoy the game. Storyline gets a 5/5.
Online- This is must for online. This is the best online game for the 360. It moves very smoothly and there is always someone playing. Online gets a 5/5.

My 5 year old nephew physically made his father get him this game and he beat it in 11 hrs. and once that was done, he beat it on insane in about 13 hrs. Now he likes to go online and spank 30 yr olds with the shottie and the lancer. I hadnt played this game until about a week ago and when i picked it up i couldnt put it down. I played coop with my nephew for 12 hrs. straight and we just piled through the campaign first casual, then hardcor, and insane was a breeze. This is the most amazing game i have ever layed eyes on and im looking forward to the sequel, cuz its not like it didnt leave it open enough for one, anyway it gets a 10/10 from me. MF for life. Gears of war has a unique story line, rivaling good selling games such as Halo. The graphics in this game are better than average and allow for a very exciting, cinematic game experience. Even with the amazing graphics, the framerate doesn't drop very often at all. The only downside of this game is that it is short, but the addictive online play will keep you busy for awhile.

This game is the most popular on the 360 to date and is a very fun shooter. The campaign is a little too short in my opinion and the online multiplayer is not exactly my cup of tea, but this is still a great game for the 360. I still prefer the Halo series and believe Halo 3 will wipe the floor with this game.

Have you ever wanted to beat the crap out of a locust horde that come out of emergence holes (holes that the locust use to reach the surface of the planet) and are twice as big as you’ll ever be, well, now you can! Gears of war is that game you’ve been waiting for.
GOW delivers amazing gameplay unique weapons such as a machine gun with a chainsaw bayonet, which happens to be my favorite, enjoyable characters, and stunning visuals, leaving no break in action, even reloading a weapon is interact able! The story could have been better and the dialogue in some parts is pretty cheesy. The A.I. is freakin’ brilliant (I still don’t get why everyone in that game has to announce that they are reloading), for example, if your hiding, depending on what difficulty it is set for, the enemy will flank you and constantly staying in cover lessening your chance of victory.That’s only the half of it! The amazing versus mode which is ruling X-box live. Though there isn’t many game types all of them are golden, my personal favorite is assassination. One person from each team is the leader and the objective is to assassinate the opposing team’s commander.You won’t find a game better than gears of war for the years to come!

This game was so fun to play on coop and the xbox live kicks ass. It's a combination of many games and you take cover while you shoot and your teammates back you up, you can even blindly fire at your enemies just to keep them suppressed and stall them incase they try to flank you. The game involves some good comedy, especially from Cole Train. The berserker bosses are a little annoying but nicely made. The replay value is very high on this game. The Locust Horde are the enemies in this game, they have pretty much built nests all under the ground everywhere and they are ruthless attackers that will not stop till they win the war. If you want to know what games I think it is combined with they are (Brothers in Arms, DOOM III, Halo, Call Of Duty, Enter the Matrix, Unreal 1 and 2, UT2k4 and UT2k3.) The AI aren't stupid either, but some times they don't want to follow you like when you start a new level, usually constantly telling them to regroup will help or reloading your last save. The only disappointment was the length of the single player, I beat it in less than 2 days. But from what I've heard this game is going to be not leading up to a second game but a trilogy.

Gears of War, the #1 game being played on Xbox Live, is like no other game I have played. My favorite part about it is that you cannot go out in the middle of a level and start shooting things. It takes strategy, especially if you want to survive at all online. Cover is THE MOST important rule to remember in this game, followed by accuracy and active reloads (timing a reload to make the bullets temporarily more powerful). The very few exceptions to this game's amazingness are, first of all, getting stuck behind cover on objects you weren't trying to hide behind, and, second, some people enjoy being retarded online by glitching out of some levels. For example, in the downloadable level Subway, many people can get out of the level with a simple timed jump and then they shoot people from behind the scenery. I also had someone on Mansion get up on top of the fencing surrounding the level and shot me from there. Other than these annoying little perks about the game, I am completely satisfied. A must have for any mature 360 owner. 4.8 / 5

This is the best Xbox 360 game made yet! No Game collection is complete without this game. It is one of the most fun games I have ever played on Xbox Live, and there are many achievements to earn. You could play co-op with anybody you want if you need help to beat a certain difficulty, or you can play a ranked match to get your achievements. This game has incredible graphics and is very bloody for you gore fans! Only a few glitches in this game, such as the crab walk (running and shooting in every direction, which you cannot normally do) and getting out of the map (which is also very annoying because it is impossible to kill the person out of the map). Overall, I have to give this game 5 out of 5 stars. Whoever has an Xbox 360 better have this game!

At a crossroads on the war-torn planet of Sera, you have a decision to make. Both paths are equally dangerous, with the Locust horde armed with explosive arrows and revving chainsaws, ready to tear you to pieces, either way. No, this debate is between you and your co-op partner as you argue over who will pick up that next COG tag, secret pickups that act as currency for heralded Achievements.
It's here that you truly realize what a masterpiece Epic has created in Gears of War. Yes, it's the most gorgeous looking game on the Xbox 360, period. Yes, the sound design is worthy of awards. Yes, the game is fun as hell. But playing with a friend, as you bark flanking orders into your headset over Live, or across the room during a system-link game, or right next to you in a split-screen campaign, you realize that Epic has created the 360 game we all hoped for, and that Gears of War more than lives up to the impossible hype.
And then you snap back to reality, remember that you haven't picked up that COG tag yet, offer some kind parting words to your co-op partner, and choose to go left, because you're Marcus Fenix, and Marcus Fenix goes where ever the hell he wants to.
Emergence Day
Gears of War takes place over the course of 36 hours on the planet Sera, what was once a civilized human planet of cheerful sidewalk cafes and flower-filled parks. No more. The population did not know that underneath every major city, the Locust Horde was digging. Underground monsters, of superhuman size and strength, with filthy complexions that could rival the ugliest of teens, the Locust are fearsome creatures. And on a sunny Sera afternoon, the Locust emerged.
The loss of life was catastrophic, or so it appeared in the opening sequence. The soldiers of the Coalition of Ordered Governments, or COG, fought valiantly, but failed. As the battle slipped away, COG soldier Marcus Fenix defied orders to try and rescue his father. He was caught and imprisoned. Fourteen years passed, and the Locust have closed in. As alien creatures take over Marcus's prison, an old friend opens the cell door, gives Marcus a gun, and asks him rejoin the fight.
Yes, Gears of War is a bit light on story. You are a soldier. There are bad guys. You must kill them. If fact, the only place you'll find the story tidbits above are in the instruction manual -- Epic assumes you already know all this. Without giving too much away, Epic does touch briefly on Marcus's father and Marcus's "sham" of a court martial, but this shallow story is a simple vehicle to drive the action

Awesome! I was amazed when I started playing this game. The online matches are incredible and the best part is you don't have to be a pro at Gears of War to be good against others. Everyone, even noobs, are good at it. I give this game 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.

Gears of War is a very entertaining choice. At first, I thought that it looked like just another average shooter. When I played it, I realized just how great this game is. The simple movement system makes you feel accomplished for moving from spot to spot when you are really only pressing a single button. The gameplay itself is unbelievably fun. You will find yourself addicted to this game, not only because of it's optional cooperative story mode, but because of being able to feel a great satisfaction in the multiplayer mode. Because, lets face it, there is no greater achievement in a video game like this than being able to sneak behind your friend and chainsaw him in half. Regardless of age, you will find a very long, fun experience in Gears of War and i would definitely reccomend it.

one of the best games ive played for the 360. The movemnets can get tricky at first without any beforhand experience. The fact that the water graphics work like real time and the AI is never the same just makes for the perfect game. As you start out you might not see to much that you like but when you get later on you will find out that you absolutly love this game. The multiplaymight be limited by the modes that you can play but that means nothing when playing all the levels. I'm unsure if you can actually get bored of this game. No matter how much you play the story mode you cant get down the movements of the monsters. The fact that during multiplayer you can switch the places of the guns just makes it that much better if you look closly at the cover during levels you can just how great the disgn really is.

This game I think is one of the most impressive games I have played so far this year. The rich graphics and details make this game a best buy. The gameplay and cover mechanics are the very best like the way you can move in and out of cover and jump over cover makes very good gameplay. I also highly recommend this game to anybody that owns the 360 you can't buy a 360 console and not get this game if you do you are missing out on one of the best games on the 360. This game was also voted the best shooter of the year by gamepro. This game definitely deserves five stars.

I have to give this game a 10 out of 10. The single player is compelling and has excellent replay value. The multi player is by far the best I have played on the 360 and I have played alot of games online. I would recommend this game to everyone who own a 360.

I loved this game. Before I played it I thought it wasn't worth all the hype, but after I played I could not stop. I love the way you can take cover in many different ways. Also the revival system really makes this game a team game. The weapons work well and the graphics are amazing. When you headshot someone it really is a headshot. I recommend this game to any xbox 360 owner.

What an amazing game, it it weren't for the lack of Storyline it would be one of the best shooters on the market today. The visuals(e.i. Textures), are very beautiful. The audio is shy of the same, but good never-the-less. A wonderful game.

This game has great textures. A game definitely worth playing, sadly it was in my mind, made more for online or multiplayer, more than that of a single player because the storyline is a little weak, but other than that it is a great game.

I believe that the gameplay on Gears Of War is outstanding! This game has unbelievable graphical design. I beat this game the first time that I ever played it.It only took about 4 hours to beat. I think that the game itself is too short. There aren't enough levels/stages to go through in the game, therefore it is too short. Don't get me wrong, this game is off the charts! But, I think that the creators could have done at least twice as many stages on the game as originally put. I know that they have the capability to do so, so why didn't they. I believe that it could be because of release date. I have heard that this game had to be reevaluated only three days before the originally announced realease date! That is my review on Gears Of War for the XBOX 360. I would give this game, for sure, a 100/100! If anyone has anything bad to say about it you let me know.

Gears of War blows gaming into the next generation, It has everything Amazing graphics, a Great Storyline, Awesome weapons and animations, If you like gore, Intense action an awesome stroyline thats easy to follow, and unbelievably fun gameplay... Than get this game it will keep you entertained for hours on end. Especially with its Awesome replay value!

I got this game the very first day it came out, and I still play it! Unlike other games, the single player can be played many times and you'll still not get bored. Thats mostly because the campaign isn't just single player, you can play local or online co-op! The online is also great and can be played many many times. The games graphics are probably the best I've seen on the 360 yet! The only problem I had with this game are all the glitchs. Its not really cool getting sniped by a guy who's outside of the map. But other than that, this game is amazing, definitly go check it out!

When I first bought Gears I brought it home and put it in the XBOX to start the single player campaign. I played for about an hour and then stopped...I felt ripped off. Two days went by and my brother had bought the game, so we got in there together and started a campaign. It was some of the funnest co-op play that I have ever done.
As I played and learned some of the finer finesse moves of Gears I grew to appreciate the game even more, even the single player, but co-op is where this game shines. When you are hurt bad enough you go into what they call a bleed out mode where you are on your knees and cannot move. When this happens, your friend can come over, fighting through the bullets, to pick you up. The adrenaline gets flowing when this happens and it is more fun than Paris Hilton after she has had a few drinks.
Gears has a cover system also that is similar to the one in Rainbow Six Vegas. You can duck behind objects and fire blind around the cover if needed.
The multiplayer at first was not that impressive to me until the Gears Team added the ANNEX game mode. This mode is kind of like a randomly rotating king of the hill. There are circles on the ground that your team moves to take control of and when you are in control you start getting points. Then the other team comes and tries to get you out of the circle and get points for their team. the action is fast and furious. The other multiplayer modes are too slow for my liking, and there is alot of waiting around for the next game to start once you have been killed.
The single player story is not very deep but the great graphics, sound, and co-op game play make it worthwhile. I went through the Gears about 6 times helping various friends, have played hours of Annex, and I still enjoy this game.

Very good story and gameplay overall, however major bugs in multiplayer make it a hassle to enjoy a game. Despite these glitches and "cheats", many games are good as people maintain a sense of honor and don't have to resort to cheating to win. I recommend this game.

Gears of War, you've been hearing the name all over the place. The hype has been building steadily, and finally, the game you've been waiting for is here!
Is it worth it?
Yes.... and no....
Gears of War combines a vivid story with breathtaking graphics and amazing gameplay to become on of the best games of 2006. However, with all this going for it, GoW still lacks that which would make it a classic.
Firstly, the singleplayer, while very fun, is extremely short, and the in-game sequences where characters stop running and walk to speak into their headsets is often very annoying. The speed of the game is damaged by these short, but useless segments.
Second, the game is very linear, there are different ways to win a fight, but only one way to beat a level, and it shows. The result is always that you kill everything, and then walk to an area.
Third, the story, while good external is lacking internaly. Marcus, Dom and all the other characters, have no real personality, and while they are distinctive, they don't seem nearly real enough.
The multiplayer is excellent, and should give gamers a lot of fun for a long time, the drawbacks are the lack of game types (Warzone and Execution? same thing) but DL content should help.
All in all, a great game, lacking in story and MP modes, but worth the price. Go get it.
Also for those who don't like cursing or blood, you can turn OFF the blood and gore, and you can also turn the voices off and subtitles off.

Gears of War is an over the top first person action shooter. The game is mesmerizing. The campaign mode itself has you on the tips of your toes. Gears of War's compelling campaign offers a great overview of what lurks within the society of the Locust. Next Generation graphics of this game are just to die for, the outlook of the game is just jaw dropping. The online play is great its easy to get into, there is intense fighting and in order to do your best to get all the achievements in the game you have to excel throughout the ranks. Furthermore the game lives up to the hype and it will not every grow old it is a game that will stay for the ages and is one of the best rated Games in 2007. Do not look back now do not walk run to the store and pick up this exciting jaw dropping thriller at your near video game store or even better Swap it here, and enjoy.

First off, I just want to say this game exceeds expectations of a game. What game can you get a great storyline, great graphics, awsome singleplayer, and sweet multiplayer, besides Halo 3? lol. This game would be it. I cant wait for the movie and Gears of war 2. Stellar graphics reset the bar for what consoles can do visually

* best use of a chainsaw in any game, ever.
The game also uses the very addicting Curb Stomp to crush the skulls of your wounded enemies! Oh what fun!! It is also introduces a new health system to games. Rather than always worrying about your health going down, is your take too much damage in a short period of time, you go down, where your teammates have a chance to heal you, if they dont make it in time, or the enemy finishes you off, your done. It is nice because who wants to run in the open across the map, get shot at, hide behind a truck, and YIPPIE! now you have 10hp left and cant step on a piece of glass or you'll die. If yuo want to try a different shooter besides Halo, join the third person perspective shooter, Gears of War, you wont regret and You'll be addicted from the beginning.

This is the best game that I have played for the 360 and you can't have a 360 collection without this game. this game is jammed packed with action and blood which is a very very good thing. The storyline is great and I would be lucky to own this game. Also this game was voted game of the year and shooter of the year by gamepro.

I rented this game on friday and I beat it on coop casual, now im on coop hardcore. All I can say is this is intense. This is honestly one of the best games ive seen for the 360. The story line is good, the voice overs a pretty decent. The graphics are awesome. The monstors and scenarios give you everything you need in a shooter. This a game that you should own. I cant wait to get my copy!

When i first heard about Gears of War i wasn't sure it was going to live up to the hype, Then i played it and realized it wasn't hyped enough. This game was incredible and VERY fun. although the story was short the online play was VERY good and kept me playing for quite awhile and will continue to play until Halo 3 comes out, and even then i doubt that will top this. The only game i can see topping this is Gears of war 2 but i think that might be awhile so until then ill keep enjoying this game and i hope you will too.
Pros: Good story, AWESOME Graphics, VERY fun gameplay, great to play on Xbox Live and overall great!

Overall: This game is a MUST HAVE for any Xbox 360 owners if you dont have it then get it.

Yo, i seen this game being played at a friends house and after i seen that, when i got my 360, that was one of the first games i bought with it. love watching all the body parts fly when you blow someone up. And frag tagging. The Story line is Pretty good too, although the game wasn't all that long it was very good, the bosses were on the easy side even on insane. But overall would recommend to anyone.

At first, I only got this game because all of my friends had it. I thought it was going to be the average shooter. Boy was i wrong. The feeling of the first head shot was invigorating :). I played this game for countless hours, trying to master it. Overall, I'd have to say this is one of the most well put together shooters in the industry and i recommend it.

When I started playing Gears it was the first shooter I ever played on console. Epic did an amazing job translating their take on the shooter into the console world. The gameplay is exciting and rewarding. After a few weeks of playing, I fealt very comfortable with the controller. The team gameplay is fantastic. I've had countless shouting, grinning, and just plain FUN multiplayer moments.
The gameplay is fantastic and only matched by the graphics. Holy crap! SMOOTH 30 fps gameplay at all times and the most dynamic and beautiful lighting of any shooter anywhere - still! Halo 3, eat your heart out. Gears might have come first, but it looks and runs the best hands down.
Singleplayer is fast and furious and coop play is a buddy blast! It's rare that I play a singleplayer game to the end more than once, but I did with Gears!
Gears is one of the best singleplayer and multiplayer experiences on any console anywhere!

Just another third person shooter with the cover system. It gets very old after awhile and the multi-player is terrible. Lots of people say this game is the best on the 360....well don't listen to them. If you want a good third person shooter with the cover system go play rainbow six vegas and if you want to play a good shooter play halo 3. The story(or lack there of) is about some random guys off to save the world from aliens again. The voice acting is terrible and the story itself is crap. Just about the only good part of this game is the graphics. GoW uses the unreal 3 engine and it looks amazing. If it wasn't for the graphics i probibly would of never bought this game. Not much more to say about this game its just another boring third person shooter with no substance. Like I said back there if you want to play a good game go pick up halo 3 or rainbow six, but if for some odd reason you want to suffer through boring single-player terrible voice acting, mediocre game play, and terrible online pick up GoW.

This game is amazing. play as single or have someone to team up with you. the game is crazy. Lots of blood and action. This game is so good that Gears of War 2 is coming out November 2008. 3 modes to play in. Casual will give you a good idea on how to play the game. Beat it, go to Hardcore mode, this is where it gets really hard. But to top it off, go in "insane" mode. this means you better be amazing at headshots. Can't wait for the GoW2 to come out.

WOW! Wait...did you catch that? I'll say it again...WOW! This game just rocks! The first game I picked up for my 360 ($40 in Feb/2007 on fleabay new), and probably the only game I ever needed, GOW impressed the hell out of me. Incredible graphics and imagery, wonderful story line, an amazing array of weaponry, super-cool voice over, and probably the best (except for Halo 2) online gaming experience I've ever had.
I wish there was something negative I could say but I just can't think of anything. If you've yet to play this game and you're okay with third person shooters, GO GET IT NOW!!!

At a crossroads on the war-torn planet of Sera, you have a decision to make. Both paths are equally dangerous, with the Locust horde armed with explosive arrows and revving chainsaws, ready to tear you to pieces, either way. No, this debate is between you and your co-op partner as you argue over who will pick up that next COG tag, secret pickups that act as currency for heralded Achievements.
It's here that you truly realize what a masterpiece Epic has created in Gears of War. Yes, it's the most gorgeous looking game on the Xbox 360, period. Yes, the sound design is worthy of awards. Yes, the game is fun as hell. But playing with a friend, as you bark flanking orders into your headset over Live, or across the room during a system-link game, or right next to you in a split-screen campaign, you realize that Epic has created the 360 game we all hoped for, and that Gears of War more than lives up to the impossible hype.
And then you snap back to reality, remember that you haven't picked up that COG tag yet, offer some kind parting words to your co-op partner, and choose to go left, because you're Marcus Fenix, and Marcus Fenix goes where ever the hell he wants to.

This was my personal fav for the 360. It has a very awesome campaign, really good co-op system. The xbox live for it is amazing very hard to put down when you start to play.If you don't have it get it so you have some time to get ready for number 2(which will blow the video gaming world away.)

This game is by far one of the best games to step foot on the Xbox 360. This game blows Halo out of the water. With amazing visuals, bloodiest gameplay around, and extremely fun and tense multi- player this game is a must have for any Xbox 360 owner.

One of the best and most visually stunning games the Xbox 360 has to offer. Despite being one of the first 360 games, its graphics surpass most games on all three systems. It is a bloody, gory 3rd person shooter that will leave you begging for more. From chainsawing enemies to sticking grenades on them, this game does alot of things that is really original. Worth the 40 points. If you dont have it, get it to familiarize yourself with the story and controls so that you are ready for the next installment, gears of war two when it hits shelves November .
