be aware to watch for patterns in the pitcher, in the game most of the pitchers will have a pattern on where they are going to pitch. for example one pitcher may start out a batter by pitching low out side corner, and the after that pitch he might go high and inside usaly u can jsut watch the pitchers arm to see where its goan go but its a video game cant do that, so you best bet is to look for the patterns and take good guesses as to where its gona be. also be aware of the count on a 3-0 count the pitcher 90 percent of the time will pitch it right down the middle so he can atlest get one strike, also try useing the classic hitting style instead of the analog stick its a lil easier. this may also work online wit ppl who arent too familar with the game, so just watch for patterns in the picthing and watch the count

there are a few achievments for this game labeled "Organized Crime", "Double Steal", and "Thief" if your team is like mine, slow, then these tasks can be pretty difficult, even on easy. so a great way to get these achievments, is to create players that are 100 speed, acceleration, aggression, etc. and if you dont want these created players to mess up your franchise, then you can just make another franchise and have about 3 or 4 players be created this way.

There are a few achievments in the game that require you to lead the league in the respective statistic (strikeouts, home runs...). An easy way to do this is to play on an easy level like rookie or pro and play like a 10 or 30 game season(you can opt for that when you first start a season). That way you don't have to deal with a 162 game grind on a level as boring as rookie or pro to get those achievments.
