If you like strategy games

This game kicks butt. The Combat is descent, but it really shines by combining this with RTS elements to create a unique twist on the Genre. It's one of my favorite Xbox games. Great gameplay and equally good storyline. As a extra plus, the game features about 8 or so character campaigns which allows you to play both sides of the conflict. Not to mention this game is long(in good way!) so you get your money's worth. You can choose which campaigns you wish to do, so there is 8 endings along with a final one. Each campaign has it's own set of unique missions(they don't repeat the same one for each character) to boot.

I was expecting this game to be like an epic RTS that I played (or many of) on cpu years ago; Star Craft, Age of Empires, Empire Earth. Those games, you have 1000 troops, and can individually control all 1000. This game, it's not quite the same, as you only control the generals or captains leading large troops (platoons) of soldiers, but not any individually. As the game goes on, you gain more leaders who control their own platoons, you control the leaders. That's where I was let down.
It's great in combat, has tremendous amounts of opportunity to use your own open strategy to outsmart the opponent, a variety of 20(ish) different troop jobs (infantry, archers, sappers (techs)) to choose from. Capable of choosing from ten skills or more of experience to upgrade on your troop's leaders (choose wisely, your not refunded exp if you delete the skill), and each leader is limited to 4 slots.

Overall, this game is great for epic battles, and strategy challenges, but I'm still looking for the classic RTS games I'm used to from cpu, here on the XBOX. I just hope their are some on the 360.
