America finally gets Final Fantasy 3 ported to the DS from Japan.
Graphics 9/10. The gameplay graphics looks like playstation graphics. But a Tad better. The fmv scene is beautiful and i couldnt believe that the DS could handle something such beautiful.
Sound 9.5/10. The music and sounds in the game are very nice and you could hear everything.
Control 9.5/10. The controling is easy but thr drawback is there less use of the touch screen. But you could zoom in and acess the menu thu the touchscreen
Gameplay 10/10. Just like every Final Fantasy game. But now you get jobs. Very Fun and also write mails to other people via nintendo wi-fi.
The bad part of the game: The Save System. The only way you could save is when your on the Wold Map screen. So if your in the cave and you die almost at the end....well tough luck gotta do it all again.
Overall: The best Rpg game the DS has offered.
Pretty fun

FF 3 is a really good game, long, fun, challenging and lots of stuff to do.
i found it very fun, it takes maybe 20-30 hours to complete, witch is pretty long, there is letter sending to real people via whirless or to people all over the world with WIFI, you can also send mail to ff3 people and they might respond (sometimes this is beneficial to the game).
instead of classes there are jobs, you can switch jobs when u have them, and lvl them up so u can be better at them.
there are 22 diferent jobs in the game: Freelancer, Warrior, Monk, White Mage, Black mage, red Mage, Thief, Ranger, Knight, Scolar, Geomancer, Viking, dragoon, black Belt, Dark knight, Evoker, Bard, Magus, Devout, Summoner, Sage, and Ninja.
There are 4 party members that you get, witch you get pretty early in the game, Luneth (main character), Arc, Refia, and ingus. you can also change there name (only up to 6 characters i think).
I would really recommend this game for other people to get.

This game will keep you spellbound for hours! There are 22 jobs that you can choose from (and one job only unlocked through WiFi access), 4 characters, over 200,000 possibilities! You can play through several times and still have some combinations not yet used! HUGE replay value!

Finally we have a traditional Final Fantasy DS game! And on top of that, its a Final Fantasy that none of us here in the US have had the chance to experience up until now!
Final Fantasy III offers a plethora of different character classes to choose from, as well as TONS of weapon and spell choices.
This game kept me up for hours, the gameplay is over well over 20 hours, I was only about halfway through the game and at something like 20 hours. This game completely surprised me when I found out [***SPOILER ALERT***] that there is a whole other world that surfaces later in the game. I mean who would've thought?!
This game has a somewhat typical Final Fantasy story, but charming all the same.
Great game, and a must buy for DS owners.
Final Fantasy DS

My personal favorite in the first three Final Fantasy (NES) generation. Now on the DS in it's full 3-D glory. Graphics was one of the best when it was released in the states. Gameplay is harsh, lack of phoenix down, and lack of save state can be quite frustrating especially for the boss at the end. However, some may see this as challenging as the original. Wi-fi feature isn't that useful, it's main purpose is just to achieve the final class, the onion knights. Replay value is pretty low. Once you're done, you're pretty much finish the game.
I wouldn't really recommend this to newbies to the final fantasy franchise, but to hardcore final fantasy fans. At least give it try with an open mind.
