BEST GAME EVER

this is one of my most played games. In game is NUTS and online is even BETTER i sugguest going and adding this game to your "want list" if u dont have it already.
Best Shooter game on PS2

Socom 3 is the best "FPS-war" game on the PS2. There are only a few problems with it. The lag for online, and the glitches for online play. Zipper Interactive has really done a great job on this game. They have gotten rid of most of the bugs and glitches. I know there is no way to make a glitch free game. Up to 32 players on one map. can make a room with one map and play it about 20 different ways with all the different options you can set up.

This game was it, it has it all for the PS2, sometimes it pushed the system to its limits. Great graphics for a PS2 title. Glitchers are big in this game, online play lag depends on who is the rooms host.
Not as good as socom II.

very nice game, but i preferred socom II. The maps in online play are HUGE! And mostly everyone just camps. I haven't tried campaign since i picked up the xbox 360. And since I havent i can't deduct my rating anymore so i'll leave it at 4 stars. Very nice game for ps2, just wished people didn't camp so much online.

This game is awesome online. If you dont have a network adapter and headset get one. When you play this game online it is like playng a different game. You can make or join a clan make friends and make your own custom room. There are wars if you are in a clan. If you play enough yo eventually get badges that show your rank.

I give this game a 4 out of 5 because there really isnt a good story line. but me and my friends did stay up until about 5 in the morning playing the missions over and over again. we love it. i wish my online hook up would work so i could play it online, heard it was the best online game ever. i suggest getting it if you are into playing army games with a lot of action in them. you can compare this to "Conflict: Desert Storm 2" Good game. 4 out of 5

this is just another run and gun game. great if you like those and can deal with another military game like it. give me a fast pace and a slow paced military game where you have to use all possible people like assault and snipers etc. Anyway all the levels look suprisingly similar granted a few are in the city while others are in the mountains or desert but all have dirt and rocks and trees. i think i would have liked to see more of maybe a bigger city combat level. The online was ok though. so i give it a 3 out of 5.

This game is not that good to be honest. Yes it does have vehicles, 32 people online and bigger maps. But overall its nowhere near as good as socom 2. I would recommend this game to anyone who hasnt played a socom game before. If youve played socom 2 i wouldnt recommend this game. Overall a 6/10. Its a big disappointment
