This game gives God Of War a run for it's money

This game was amazing. The visuals are stunning , i can just sit there sometimes and look at the scenery for a good 20 mins without moving. The fighting system is also flawless. you can pull off stunning combos with ease, the different styles flow together smoothly. The story line keeps you playing even though you get killed by the same boss 7 times. The only downside to the game is that it is kinda short. but there is a good replay value to it. after you beat it you can play it back through on hell mode. You can also go back through on the same difficulty and try to get all of the tokens that you've missed. I don't know what they unlock yet but i'm definitely going to try and get all of them. I give this game a 9.5/10 because I died like 18 times on the final boss but I didnt stop playing until I finished.

1st uv all this game has a good story line & well the grafics are well.................. they SUCK! just kiddin, they r 1 of the most awesomest thing my eyes have ever seen.I never got to the end uv the game cuz its my frends game but i highly recommend this game to all ps3 owners :)

A Heavenly Sight

As mentioned in the other reviews the game looks incredible and really shows of the capabilities of the ps3. The game play and combo system gives god of war a run for its money, but the again, god of war hasn't visited the next-gen yet, neither has prince of persia which is also comparable to this game, take the best parts of those games amp it up with more power a well crafted and well performed story (I'm not kidding the voice acting and motion capture for the game are unreal, those are actual performances you are seeing thanks to guys like Andy Serkis, who brought Gollum to life in the lord of the rings and is your main bad guy in this game). A must have, but a little on the short side for me, but when you pick it up it's hard to put down. People will probably demand a sequel, and even though i want to play more, I don't want anything to mess up the completeness in the story of this game. For sure, a five out of five.

I got this game knowing full well that it was short. It didn't matter as it looked and played beautifully. I couldn't believe how good the graphics were. I just got an hdtv, making it even more spectacular. The gameplay was great and exciting throughout. The story was awesome and entertaining, keeping you engaged to the television throughout. Most of the game was easy, except for the last boss, which was a pain to beat. Don't worry about the length of the game. This game is a must have for a PS3 owner.

i felt like saying this to all who are reading this...Nariko, the main character, dies in the end.

Great game play and graphics. Story line leaves something desired, although the end fight is imba as hell. Also very good use of Six-axis controls, used more than any other game I've played on the PS3. The crossbow and cannon missions can be a little frustrating at first, but once you get used to the six-axis nothing is more satisfying then shooting someone in the crotch. Combos and different fighting stances mix the combat up and keep it exciting, and the boss fights are also challenging and just plain fun. Stunning imagery, suburb views on a HDTV, you will want to stop and look around at the beautiful environment. Overall worth buying, definitely worth a renting. 4/5 for short story line. Nariko is freakin hott too. Hopefully the sequel is longer and just as kick-ass.

I Love This Game!!! I was all about Kratos..... until I met Nariko!! Heavenly sword is the first generation defining game for me. As a big fan of the GOW games, it really is hard for me to say that Nariko makes Kratos look like a chump, but she pulls it off without even breaking a sweat. The visuals in this game are absolutely stunning. The controls are spot on and incredibly responsive, which is extremely important when the action moves at this pace. The storyline was better than most games, but still a little lacking. The cinematic sequences are among the best in any game ever. The production value is awesome. One of the few games that I beat and still want to play again. Even the tension of waiting for the sequel is eased a little by the fiery haired Nariko that haunt my dreams. There are worse things to dream about....like just about anything!! Play it...Love it....Obsess over it!!
